Charismatic Worship Description

Charismatic worship is in itself a renewal movement that has had an impact on almost every denomination. It might be called worship that focuses on the sovereignty of the Holy Spirit. Its hallmarks are free expression, both verbal and somatic, within the bounds established by the tradition; participation by all members; the encouragement and exercise of the gifts of the Spirit; and the expectation that the Holy Spirit will minister to each member of the congregation.
