How to add Music and Media to a liturgy

Liturgies is integrated with the catalogs of it's two sister sites, www.praisecharts.com and www.worshipvue.com. That means you can access rich, dynamic content from both of those sites, directly from your liturgy.

1. Adding Music from PraiseCharts

You can add music to your liturgy from PraiseCharts, or from your liturgy. From PraiseCharts, simply find the song you want and select Add to Plan. Then, select the liturgy that you want to add the song to. From your liturgy, select New Item from the Options menu (or from the popout menu of any item that you hover over).

Once you are in edit mode on an item, select Song as the item type. Then enter the search terms for the song you wish to add, and click Lookup.

Then, you will be able to select from a list of matching songs in the PraiseCharts catalog. Click on the Add to Plan button to add the song to your liturgy.

If the song has lyrics or an audio preview, you will be able to access that right from the liturgy. The lyrics are automatically embedded from the PraiseCharts database, and only display as [lyrics] in the Item Edit box. If there is an audio preview associated to the song, you'll find a play button next to the song title in the liturgy when you hover over the item.

You will also see a popup icon next to the song title. Click on that to see the related chart and audio products available from PraiseCharts. If you need any music products, simply Add to Cart.

2. Adding Media from WorshipVue

Adding media from WorshipVue works essentially the same as adding music from PraiseCharts. From the Item Edit box, select Media instead of Song, and then click the Lookup button after you enter your search terms. Find the media item that you want and select Add to Liturgy.
