On The Road To Emmaus: An Example Of Readers’ Theater

This script calls for three readers to render the gospel lesson from Luke 24:13-35 (niv).

Reader 1: Now that same day

Readers 1 and 2: the two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem.

Reader 1: They were talking with each other about everything that had happened.

Reader 2: As they talked and discussed these things with each other,
