The Place Of The Arts At Table Worship

The arts are vehicles of communication. They are not used for their own sake, but rather a means through which an encounter with the risen Christ is enhanced.

There are two places where the arts serve the action of the Table.

1. Dance may accompany the song sung during the bringing of the gifts and wine to the Table.

2. Communion songs may be sung during the reception of bread and wine as a way of expressing the mystery of the death and Resurrection.
