Lectionary Reading For Easter Sunday

The following are the recommended readings for Easter Sunday in the Revised Common Lectionary.

SUNDAY Year A

ACTS - Acts 10:34-43, Peter: they killed Jesus, but God raised him; or Jeremiah 31:16, the return of the exile.

PSALM - Psalm 118:12, 1424

EPISTLE - Colossians 3:14, you are raised to life with Christ.

GOSPEL - John 20:18 or Matthew 28:1-10, Mary and the empty tomb.

SUNDAY Year B

ACTS - Acts 10:34-43 (above) or Isaiah 25:69, the mountain of the Lord.
